After debating over several weeks I finally am becoming a master amorsmith. I am currently grinding my way up and am at 0103. (did the layers box just to see if I could improve on my chest plates and sell some of em). And I have to say although very time consuming, I am actually having fun makeing full suits of armor and making guild mates ware them. (my best so far is a pink set of mal. armor with 8% kin. res...lol).

But my goal with this profession is to set up a good business. I am beginning to collect resources because as a former architect I have none with a high OQ but most high in about everything else.

If there are any amorsmiths out there on the tempest server who are getting out of business or who want to help a amorsmith get a foot hold then please send me an in game email, and lets discuss a buy out price. Although I'll continue to read the boards for tips, I will still do a bit of experimenting myself so any shards/segments/attachements that you may not have space for I will welcome.

I am especially interested in experimentation tapes. I've read I don't need them to be competitive, but I want them to make the best quality possible, please post any tips but save offers/sales for ingame emails only. I know this is not a trade forum and I don't want this post to turn into that.

I would just like to point out that the single most important aspect for armorsmithing is to start with good resources. A 12 point smith with crappy resources can't compete with a mere 10 point armorsmith because the bad resources cap the resists and start at a lower rating. Being an architect definately give you an advantage over most other novices.

BTW: Tantel is the first set of armor that you can put layers in.
