Yes that is what a Armorsmith is suppose to make to complete the FS Craftning tree.
I started as an Armorsmith in Beta and probably crafted more Armor then anyone on Bloodfin andI dont think I have made that Much using Factorys much less all by Hand.
And the first person that says find something to grind can take this Game and Shove it.

I'm doing Padded suits I sell at 50k per.
Didn't do the maths but wonder how much padded I have to sell to get the 4 force crafting skills

Padded is probably a bit less Exp then Composite soI would say about 7000 Full Sets of padded at 350 Million. You would have to Make and about 20 Full sets a day for the next year.
Are people just accepting this and saying its OK?
If we dont get mad and yell about this they arent going to do anything.

Doesnt the fact this cant be done realisticaly by an Armosmith bother anyone but me? Why does everyone just come back with a new Profession to try? Im Master Armorsmith Master Merchat with Marksman Pistol 4 to defend my self around my Factorys and harvestors. I Have 3 Points left. Now everyone just wants to say Grind this or pick up that to do it.
Why arent more Armorsmiths mad at the fact we cant Make this short of producing 2.5 BILLION Credits worth of Armor?

I am not really mad because it is not a necessity to grab those trees provided you don't want to unlock with your crafter.
I know I won't get the 4 trees anytime soon but I should be able to grab some of the boxes in a reasonable amount of time ( the first boxes aren't that expensive xp wise).

same as me :-) im curious how i can make milions of ubese shirts just for grinding, all the time standing in my house.
i cannot just play as usual, i can do cap twice a day but, cap gives ony 24k fs exp, too small :-)
i 'm also marksman rifle 4 for same reasons like you, just defend myself from kreetles and other tatooine bugs.
may be it will not be as hard as if you make other stuff but about 79 Mil creds resources can be consumed only on armor tree

The fact is that they have themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place. Right now things are geared on actually becoming a jedi rather than just getting some trees. On one hand, a lot of crafters just want their force sensitive crafting trees and could care less about jedi. On the other hand, they realize that some people will use 3rd party macro programs to do crafting grinding just like they did in the old system and they can run these almost 24 hours a day. You can bet that if it was easier to just macro-grind to jedi as a crafter, a lot of combat people would drop some combat, grind up to jedi and leave crafting behind. Its a shame, but I really think that they are having to factor exploiters into their XP conversion calculations. Its too bad they didn't do what they said they would and get rid of the grind alltogether. Grinding is bad for the game.

That was what the USAGE Exp was suppose to be about. If it took Grinding 6000 Sets of junk to make it then shouldnt Making 1000 Full sets of Usable Armor be better? Why did they take the usage system out when the Whole Craftning System was buit around this in the First place.

Usage XP has problems in this kind of system too. If you got lots of usage XP, how much do you want to bet that a lot of crafters would basically give away their product so that they could get as much usage XP as possible. That would mess up the economy even more than it is now. FS XP should have come from doing meaningful quests and that sort of thing, not from cashing in regular XP. No matter what you do to the current system, it is all about grinding.

if usage xp were anything substantial, most of us have enough armor already floating around out there that we would be jedi knights
