Thread: What Would You Do With 81% Base Acklay Hides?

WellI just acquired5 really nice acklay hides: 81% base, 38.7k condition, 17% heat, 10% energy.
Wondering if I would be better off using them now or after the CU. If they only nerf existing armor, and not the enhancements, then I would guess holding onto them would be the thing to do, as 80% base armor after the CU will be extremely rare. But I also dont know if they will even be used in the new system, so it might be better to use them now. Dont really even know if padded will be worth making after the CU, not sure what class of armor it is going to fall into. Will there even be a base effectiveness stat with the new armor, or will everything be special resists, since it seems like we only get resists based on the layering we choose. In that case, 81% base could mean absolutely nothing after the CU, so I should use them now. sigh decitions, decisions...what would you do?

They'll probably do a CU test of a live server copy during the last portion of the beta. I'd wait for that, your questions should be answered then.

Those are so nice... waiting would be the best thing to do. Hate to see something like that turn to crap.

i would also hate to see something like that make crap armor after the CU.
