I have collected all the loot needed (GDK scales, Gurk hides, Woolamander bones and an Interwoven schematic) to have a full set of interwoven RIS crafted and was wondering what is needed as far stats are concernedfrom the layers, enhancers and cubes to get the suit to 80% kinetic and 80% base eff before slicing? Is it possible to get there with 3 5% NS layer, 5% yellow cubes and NS shards to lower the ham? Or can it get there if I substitute janta hides for the NS layer?
Thank you,
Shammus

I find a combine total of 23% onenhancers and layersto barely makebase 80% on shadowfire.

You might want to use a 5% janta hide instead of NS shards. Also, the stats on your resources will have a lot to do with the final outcome. If no high OQ+SR stuff ever spawned on your server, you may be out of luck.

Rule of thumb is that if you can hit 40% post experimentation on the segment, you can hit 80% on the final piece.
Take that for what its worth.

It will vary greatly depending on the resources your armorsmith has, but the stats I get *might* be a general ballpark.
Unlayered I get 45% base, so I need 35% more from 3 layers, 1 cube, and an enhancer.
With 1 kinetic layer I get 58% base, so need 22% more from 2 layers, 1 cube, and an enhancer.
With 2 kinetic layers I get 71% base, so only need 9% from 1 more layer, 1 cube, and an enhancer.
Each kinetic layer in the above situations add about 16/16/16 to HAM so obviously makes the piece a lot heavier.
If I use lightweight kinetic layers instead, they only add about 1/1/1 HAM, but also only add about 8% to base (as opposed to the ~13% of the heavy layers), so you are better off just using an 8% NS layer (easier to get than the 10%+ ones)
The chestplate linked from my sig was made with two 16% -8 NS layers, one 5% -18 NS layer, one -6 -8 -9 red cube, and a -19 -31 -16 NS shard.

I would like to thank everyone for the info. This will help me greatly in gathering the layers, enhancers and cubes I need. One question I have is what kind of effect will a piece of armors encumbrance have after the CU? I have heard that encumbrance is going to disappear.
Thank you,
Shammus

your base will be fine...but.......you will ahve to put way too much into kin to get that base up
you can hit 80/80 with three kinetic layers, with the path you have plotted you have no kinetic at all, and your componets arent that good
