Was just studying the CURB armor crafting flowchart (http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Combat%20Upgrade:%20Armor%20System). In the final combine, boots and gloves aren't listed with the other pieces. I remember reading that wookiees and trandos would have enjoy full armor protection despite the fact that neither can wear boots and trandos can't wear gloves. Does that mean we won't craft them at all? They'll just appear as part of the leggings and bracers or something? If so, what do we experiment on if not gloves?

Good question!,
Also, if I've read it correctly, SWG will be giving us equivalent stock (like for like) based on the new stats and functions so we dont lose outafter the CU.
What then happens to all our crates of boots and gloves which will be redundant? - what will we get it return for them? I'm hoping they'll not just disappear from our inventories/shops/etc.

The no boots and gloves thing is because those bits will not go to the protection offered by the set anymore due the the species restriction on Trandoshans that caused them to have 'armour holes'.
These holes have been removed to equalise the species protection issues.
As far as I can tell these will still be craftable but used mainly for the look of having a full set

Will be the new AA holders. Since they won't take dmg, they won't decay either

They're supposed to become like clothing.... basicly there to visualy complete the armor, but they won't be a factor in combat.
Expect them to take decay on death, however, the way clothing does. And at some point, dunno when, I would expect 0 condition clothing to become un-equipable as well.
Edit; corrected spelling error
