Ok.. now I know there has been some confusion about this in the past, and I'm curious to the real answers.
Alot of people have "pre-nerf" Ubese Armored Shirts / Bandoliers and Mabari Belts. The big selling point of these of course is no decay. This of course is because its been tested whether AA's fit into Ubese Shirts / Bandoliers, and concluded that they do NOT.
Now about the decay issue. Assume you have a Ubese Shirt with 1000/1000 Condition and you put a +7 Rifle Speed CA into it. When the condition of the shirt reaches 0/1000, the item background appears red (on my UI color), to indicate that it is "Broken". However, the +7 Rifle Speed mod still works.
Now assume I have a "Pre-Nerf" Ubese Shirt, with no condition and I put a +7 Rifle Speed CA into it. Now, before I even put the CA into the shirt, the item backgrorund appears red (on my UI color), to indicate that it is "Broken". However the +7 Rifle Speed mod still works.
Finally, assume that the developers decide to either remove broken items, or make mods on broken items stop working. Since the "post-nerf" Ubese shirt has 0/1000 Condition, and appears red (Broken) in my inventory, it stands to reason that it would be removed or would no longer work. Now, since the "pre-nerf" Ubese shirt has no condition, and appears red (Broken) in my inventory, doesnt it stand to reason that it would also be removed or no longer work?
Why would the item appear with a red background in my inventory when it reaches 0/1000 condition, unless it was broken. If the "Pre-Nerf" Ubese shirt is not broken, and not the same as a 0/1000 condition shirt, why would it also appear with a red background in my inventory unless it was also broken.
The logical conclusion would be that there is NO DIFFERENCE between pre and post nerf Ubese shirts.
Arguments, thoughts and opinions?

Very good point, I always wonder why people want an ubese shirt anyways. I always usea BE shirt a BE shirt with 0 condition stillholds the mods. Pre-nerf Ubese shirt would have been great if they take AA's but they don't any more which makes them the same as post-nerfed Ubese shirt or regular tailor made shirt. Things that make you go HMMMMM......

I have the village reward resource survey tool, and it has not condition and appears in my inventory as red, If your logic is correct then that item would too dissappear.
And my LS appears red at times.

Good post. I also have a pre-nerf Ubese shirt. It had no condition rating so naturally I put some of my best AAs into it. It appears red in my inventory now, but the mods still work.
