I think ALL species should get " SPECIE SPECIFIC items " which could include weapons, clothing, and armor. I for one am getting tired of seeing every damn person playing in a suit on Composite. It doesn't feel right seeing the vast majority of people wearing the same outfit. It truely does feel like attack of the clones.

Trando's get armor, save hands and feet. No specific details have been laid out yet, for all we know wookies could only get a chest peice, and braces. Wait until the facts are fully here.

agreed. Trans have armor. Wookies had nothing. Wait and see what it is like for them and go from there.

Race specific armor is also a good idea. I want some Bothan Spy armor.

Okay, now imagine getting hit on your hands and feet 100% of the time...welcome to Wookiee-hood! I assume there will be a few holes in the Wookiee armor to be similar to the Trandoshan situation, but anything would be an improvement.

but really, in an age where people are flying around on speeders and firing lasers, why cant someone just make wookiee armor, and 3-fingered boots/gloves?!!?

exaclty the point. They are useless.

I don't know much about the SW universe other than what was in the movies so correct me if I am wrong somewhere.

but do anywhere in the books etc... do Trans where gloves and boots. I'm not talking about screenshots of some NPC either. I read above that trans are supposed to be some warrior race. Maybe they find gloves and footwear offensive or armor pieces for those parts not warrior-like. Maybe Trans take the bare feet and hands as a badge of honor. Then again, maybe they were just too stupid to make them with those clumsy three fingers

Anyway, I said it before and I will say it again: At least it said upfront in the manual specifically that you could not wear gloves or boots, unlike wookies.

Hell, if you are going by the movies, the only race that actually wore armor was the Human race. There are no Trandoshan, Zabraks, Twi'leks, Rodian, Mon Calamari, or Bothan in armor. Course, no Wookiees either, people seem to remember that but forget the rest.
