are the key features for deflectors the same as for armor so OQ, Mall, UT etc.? If not whatis important for a good deflector?

when making the components for your PSGs, use the worst resources you can. There is no point in wasting quality resources because you do not gain bonuses for resources uses. PSGs only require experimentation points when assembling the parts to make the PSG. They do not require high Mall, OQ, SR, or UT to be effective.

The final assembly results are based on: OQ and SR for resists, UT for condition. The conponants have no imput on the final, only the resources used in the final.

so what you are saying is that none of the components matter at all or just the ones that come from outside the armorsmith profession? Im just a little confused, ive also used the best i could for my armorsmith components and just bought the stuff from a master artisan i need.

You get 10 armor experimentation points for mastering armorsmith. You can get up to 2 more with armor exp tapes, but those cost millions. The quality of all the deflector componants means squat. They have no effect, use the crappiest stuff you can.

they're right,.when mak'in yer energy distributors, power conditioners, and all four deflectors, energy, emmiter, particle, and projectile,..use crappy cheap rescources. Only time it matters is when putt'in them all together, then you'll want high OQ and SR Iron, Steel, and Crystaline Gems, for MK1's and 2's. And High OQ SR Low-grade ore for MK3's instead o Crystaline gems.
