12 points and you make layers with 888ham??? I'm guessing you want the Base to be high but is it worth the HAM cost?
My Current Kinetic Layers are 111ham 2%base 7%kinetic
Yesterday I got 000ham 2%base 6%Kinetic
For the High base stuff I make Stun Layers with 5% base 888ham and 4% stun. I get a Suit that has 67% base 73%eletric 13% Stun. I've sliced about 40 of these to get a perfect 85% base suit.

I was making some truly insane armor like this yesterday- I made one full suit of "Juggernaut" armor with 75-76% base resists and 870-970 HAM. Then again, I've got eight months worth of resources saved up
I made some test medium-resist, medium weight composite gloves andthey just turned out to be medium-resist, heavy composite, so I didn't bother making any more.

Heh we had 71% base comp on Bloodfin before these changes, yesterday was getting 76% base.
Also had 42% stun, 70% base.

I was proud of my 41% stun with 61% base. Haven't seen anything like that on Shadowfire.

This thread was just to make a comparison of the difference, not a how good is your armor unless you give a before and after with specifics.

For comparison, I was making 70-71% pre-patch, with pre-patch layers/segments/assembly (the 75-76% figure is everything post-patch).

My stuff was 40% stun and 58% base. Barely a difference there. That 40% stuff was a different crism though, which I no longer have.

You guys on these other servers are lucky. I was floored with 71% base. Highest I've ever seen on myserver is 67%.
