Thread: Armors in Crate decay?

I was carried 4 crates of just made ubese armors. Unlucky i was incap. and slain by creatures. After I cloned, I realize the armors in crates was decayed.
My question is this:
Does this happend on this patch? because i never have this problem before
If this is new stuff in this patch, how can we protect our armors in crates? since we can not insured

I had the same thing happen to me, except I was carrying 10 full suits of 80% kinetic composite...doh. This was before the patch so this is not a new thing. I did notice that only the last item taken out of the crate was actually decayed. So I had 9 full suits of perfect armor and 1 suit of decayed armor. Hopefully when you pull the armor out of the crates you will only find one decayed item per crate.

I think they might have fixed that and armor will decay in the crates now. Anyone wanna test that out?

It said mine was decayed in a crate before, but when I pulled the pieces out they were at 100% condition (stupid dralls got me 
)

I think it's the crate itself that decays, not it's contents. Back when I was tailoring I had numerous crates of clothing and I died once and they decayed. But luckily the clothing that came out of the crates was still 1000/1000. Figure armor probably works the same way.

I had crates decay due to death well before the current patch.

I don't know if they have changed it in the last patch (and I don't plan on testing it :smileytongue. When it happened to me there was one decayed piece from each of the 9 crates of armor not just decay on the crate. It was always the last piece removed from the crate. I was actually quite relieved when I removed all the pieces, because I thought I had ruined 90 pieces of armor.
