Thread: Actual PSG Protection?

I'm contemplating using a Marabi Belt (Pre-nerf) for an AA holder or a Ubese Bando. I want the extra 50 slots for other things so I was wondering how much protection the PSG ACTUALLY offers. Is it worth it?

Well, first it depends on the stats and what's attacking you. A PSG is the first line of defense. For example, if it has 50% resists for energy and someone hits you for 1000 pts with an energy weapon, the PSG will absorb 500 pts. Leaving 500 pts hitting your armor which then reduce the amount you take depending on its resists.
So it is worth it? Its up to you. PSGs have low conditions and therefore can be used up quickly depending on how often you fight and how often you use it. But it does add some protection.
