Thread: Master armorsmith's other subclass
I would suggest picking up some tailor so you're sure to have your own supply of Synthetic Cloths and RFP. I heard it's very hard getting schems from tailors, but if you already have a tailor who makes you wonderful schematics, then you don't have to worry about it.
Hmm, I might suggest another profession to go with armorsmith... some combat and scout? Hide (and especially wooly) is so expensive. I'd rather hunt my own ![]()
If you're looking to be completely crafter-based, then you could do something like:
Master Artisan
Master Armorsmith
Master Tailor
0/4/3/4 Merchant
You can craft your own Tailor Components that are needed in making armor, You can make speeders, etc. with Master Artisan, you get a 20% reduction in structure maintenance costs from Merchant, plus you can have 10 vendors, and have the ability to have any type of vendors available (just won't be able to give them uniforms).

The rest of the points were dumped into FS stuff.
Yeah, it's a really nice, self-sufficient template, provided you have someone that can gather hide and bone for you. ![]()
