I bought some of these once and was rather disappointed in them considering youshould be able tohit the high 50s kinetic making your own segments.

I was wearing a Chitin suit in Coronet the other night and had a guy ask me if that was Mandalorian armor. I guess if it isn't Composite than it's rare, I should have tried to sell it

Kliknick is just not worth the effort to make into suits, if you want to make Chiten just gather resoucres for Adv. Chiten... it can be VERY good for hunting armour... certainly a lot easier to make than Ubese and looks a darn sight better for creature hunting IMHO.
You can hit 60%kin, 17% base very easily on Adv. Chiten, or 45% Kin, 30% base... if you want a higher base.
With a 4 piece suit you can get a toal Encumb. under 200, if you experiment on the encumb. under 150 for all. so a Kliknick is not worth it, you can get better resists without them.

Hmm.
You know, if you add a good Rancor Hide to the Segment, you can pretty much get rid of the Heat and Coldvun. too.
That might not be a bad suit overall then - light HAM and resists to everything but Stun and Electricity. Certainly not PVP armor by any stretch, but I would imagine it being pretty decent if not downright good for the price in terms of PVE armor, especially if the hide you add is 20% Heat/Cold or better.
