Just mastered Armorsmith on Eclipse because it's one of the last crafting professions I wanted to try. About to make my first run of Composite through the factories and wanted to get some opinions on if I should even bother with it.
80% Kinetic 60% Base 755/673/767
Was thinking of listing the suits at 140k each since the HAM and base aren't as good as what the 12pt smiths can crank out on this server.

The encumbrance isn't thatbad and the base is decent (at least it's not in the 900's). If you're selling it for a good price (I don't know what the economy is like on Eclipse) you should have no trouble moving those suits. On Valcyn ~150K for a full suit of ~60% base unsliced kinetic composite is about normal. Like you said, you can't compete with some of the 12 pointers for encumbrance, but they're probably charging more for their wares than you will be.

I'd buy 10 of those on Bloodfin for 150k, the 80 percent kinetic is great for PvE armor.

For the prices, that's very good.
My recent run of Kinetic Armour was80% Kinetic 70%Base Suit 725-661-740 Encumberence.

That is pretty decent armor, you should be able to sell them at that price.

Thanks for the replies. It took a bit of doing to gather up even a small amount of the resources for AS. The polymer for the kinetic layers wasn't great, Kiirium needed work, and the wooly wasn't uber. I gotta admit though, this is a pretty interesting profession. It's much more fun to craft when experimentation actually makes a difference in more than one line.

The current nabooian wooly and yavinian wooly are pretty good you should try getting some.

I'm using the current (maybe old) shift of Endor wooly, but thinking of going after Atef once this run is finished.
