Ok, some things to keep in mind, before anyone gives a smug an opinionated answer:
I have read the FAQ stickied above.
I AM in this for the long haul, and will be experimenting as I grind to learn about the different armors.
I am currently a 3101 Smith.
Now, with that out of the way, what should I grind to complete AS the quickest? I know Mabari shirts are simple enough, and give 393 xp. Is there anything worth gathering the materials for to get better XP per craft?
Thanks!

I personally did mabari armorweave shirts and a looping macro and could finish a tree in a few hours

i'm doing the ubese shirts on my way up and i think it works fine for the amount of materials you need to get.

Are you talking about the Ubese undergarments, or the jacket thing?
Because the Ubese shirt/undergarment only gave me about half the XP for what I get for a mabari chestplate.

I've been doing the Marubie Chest plates... seems to go pretty fast.
It's a nice change from the Heavy Warhead grind I did for WS.. so much less expensive..
