The AS correspondent confirmed on TC that it was possible to breakdown existing mando pieces into a schematic deed. That deed could then be used by DE, tailor or AS to craft a piece of mando using assault cores made by an AS. I haven't seen any posts about it since CU went live, so I assume there weren't any problems.

WOW,,,id love some more info if anyone has any. Namely, how many pieces for a schem and how many does schem make. Stats of Mando made by schem also would be nice to know.
