flame if you like

since cu i have hunted without armor, just as a rifleman. tkm is unless

armor is completely not need if you fight at your level or below.

mobs thatare higher level just requires a group. no amount of armor will change that.there is no such thing as uber weapons or armor. since higher the armor effect the slower you move and attack.

its a levels game. cu has killed crafting. armor is nothing much then looks and a wish that it will make a differents

Sad but true.

I am sticking around just long enough to make some armor for my alt and then I'm gone. If things don't shape up, my alt will be gone as well.

I hope the devs plan on making some NPC armorsmiths.

Havent checked myself but isnt it true that the AS requirements are huge now esp for factional armour etc?

Also heard a rumour that some stuff couldnt be made in factory runs?

Yes and yes. Faction armor and Imp PSG can't be factory run.

HOWEVER. Armor will let you solo stuff you'd normally need a group to fight. I've also noticed a rahter notable difference between 4500's stat armor and TK's innate 6000. The TK at a lower level could take quite alot more damage than when I respeced into commando with my combat toon.

no, armor will not let you solo higher level mobs.example.level 150gdk hits me for 2000 heath every 2 secs, no amount of armor will help. level 80 giant krayt hits me for about 100, with no armor. armor is not needed for same level mobs.

Of course you cant solo a level 150 mob. I never said you could. It WILL however let you solo level 79 or so mobs when your only 66. I've done it. And armor helps a hell of alot there.

Yes, unfortunately, armor is nothing but fashion now.

Which is apparently the way the devs want it.

True, armor doesn't help much.

Apart from the issues you mentioned, most people are ranged nowandfor them it's easily possible to kill same-level stuff before it reaches their char. That's not even one week after the cu hit live... when people get used to it mobs probabely won't ever reach the players so armor gets useless for most players at all, even if it would be useful.

Armor isn't dead, it's walking wounded from coming out of the bar and being beatin for all it's worth ( the 10 credits in it's pockets) and then staggerin home. It's certainly not dead. Maybe We'll get lucky and they hear us about this combat unbalance. heh, have moredemand on armor, witch will create business for US, witch will create business for tailors and rangers, Oh wait, having deja vu..
