Thread: Vendor names; Assault not allowed?

I'm setting up my little armorsmithing business, and I'm placing a few vendors.

So, obviously, my first idea was name them after type (Assault, Battle, Recon). So, place vendor, pick type, enter name.

"ARAW Assault". "That name was rejected by the name filter". Uhh, ok? "Assault Armors". "That name was rejected by the name filter".

Jeeez, what's this? "ARAW: Assault Armors". "That name was rejected by the name filter". So, I try placing my recon first.

Name: "Recon Armors". "The vendor has been created in your inventory and is ready to be placed". Wah!?

So, I assume this "filter" disallows "ass"? Also, is there any list of what characters etcetera are allowed in vendor names? Numbers and $ didn't work either (I admit it, I tried going around the filter, as it was obviously wrong, by naming my vendor "l33t"; A$$ault, A55ault)

But seriously, how can SOE expect us to name vendors selling ASSAULT ARMORS without using the three letters the word STARTS with?

I might be misunderstanding this whole thing, I dunno. Help appreciated!

Have you tried to encapsulate assault in hyphens or uhm dashes... Think someone got it to work that way

My vendor is name 'As-sault'. I guess they have filtered out 'ass' because then you cant name vendors such as: assh#le, asswipe and assrider. *giggle*

Yeah, thanks, -Assault- works, reasons unknown.
