Thread: 39% base rancor padded segments?

I recently got some Rancor Padded Segments with base 12% and some others with base 19%.. Would those be considered good? Any guess on the likely Base range for Padded armor crafted with these?

Thanks for the quick reply. Let me be a bit more specific now that I know what Im looking for.
I have afew setsof segments bet 12-15% base and I would say my best setis 6 identical segments with 39% base and 3600 integrity. So, is the base the determining factor of value?
Oh, and you were right about the nighsister layer not segments.

I've collected a good amount of rancor padded segments and rancor hide and nightsister segments. Is this of some interest to an AS? Sorry for the n00b question.

Depending on the base % of the rancor padded segmets they could be worth a fair amount. Rancor hides go into crafting armor segements. The base % value on those and how many identical you have are going to varry the price amont for those. When you say NS segments I don't know what to you refer. There are NS shards and NS layers. If you have Layers with a base % higher than 7% you have some good loots on your hands. The shards are not as hot of an item (well to me), but you can still get a decent price for them. Make sure to check the trade forums for the galaxie that you particiapate in to get and "idea" of the market valley in your playing region. Good luck.

39% base for those is awesome. I think I'm making 17 or 19% base for unlayered. (Don't make much...I may be off a little).
If the base is a little low, they still have low encumbrance. I'd see if you can get some one to make a suit for ya.

I'm not sure how much they go for, but contace me in-game and maybe we can barter a price for some of those Rancor Padded Segments.
