Thread: Grind help
Well more than likely you will have to drop those other combat skills to help. TKM and Master brawler are bringing your combat level way up to high for your Jedi skills. IE you cant kill stuff because of your level. Repec that TK to medic and see if that drops your level enough.
Then go get missions off the terminals for mobs that are either 1 level below you or same level and try it.
You wont be able to do much if you keep your other combat skills =/ Yeah I know its lame but thats how it is atm. My good Jedi friend was in the same situation as you. He dropped his 4th boxes in his other combat profession and now at least he can get xp.
Hope that helps some. Oh there are a few good posts around that give some great examples on what to respec those skills to.
As I see it you have 2 options.
1. Solo hunting. Surrender all other elite combat professions to get your level down toa level you can handle. You better add nov healer if you ever want to survive combat.
2. Group hunting. It is possible, actually really easy to grind jedi in a group. Have your party stay back, you hit (i recommend using force hit, its a ranged attack, so you dont have to get too close) and run back to the group. The group kills the critter, you just watch. Keep doing this and the xp rolls in for you and the members of your group. As long as the group is not within 32 m when you use the force hit, there is no vis.
That said, I think being forced to do either of these suck. The stupid level system was the worst planned, ill concieved system they could have come up with.
Thank you SOE for the FU...I mean CU

You would find it easier to grind just about anyother profession to master and then respec to it.
It is? In what way?

I think he meant as far as grinding, there's nothing that gives alot without requiring alot of components first, and even then it isn't much.
