Thread: Bugs
Was wondering if anyone is still experiencing these bugs. I would like to assume that these are all fixed now that SOE is fully focused on "balancing" the class.
1. When grouped with your pets and you LD, you can't group with them, and others in the group, can't get rid of them.
2. When grouped with a pet on a destroy mission, you don't get paid upon completion.
3. When using pets to kill humanoid type monsters, whether grouped or not, will will sometimes not be able to loot the credits on the corpse.
4. Pets will get attacked by Mob B, after you told them to attack Mob A, and will switch to attacking Mob B, and you have to have them follow you to possibly get them back on Mob A.
5. Pets cannot path worth a crap. Went with a group into the Mauler building south of Keren. Could not get my Pecko Pecko even inside for most of the fight, then could not change rooms.
6. During combat pets will "back up" quicking and soon both the pet and your target are out of range (and usually near another agro camp).
7. Need I mention pets getting stuck on geometry?
For me personally, #3 and #5 are the most annoying. I can work around the other stuff.
Fixed an issue with pets bolting to the location they were called during/after combat
Removed the requirement for a creature handler to be within 30 meters of his pet in order to gain xp."
I had a problem many times tonight with my pet teleporting back to the spot I called him. This is very annoying.
I also did not get any CH exp for any of the krayt dragons we killed. My sludge panther stood in front of them the entire time, he must have done some damage, but no exp. This happened with about 5 juvenile canyon krayts and one adult. Very frustrating.
are they getting worse each day? there were always there but it looks to me its getting worse .
creature's just stop attacking and walk back to me claiming they are hungry, almost 1 each battle.
creature's warp while in battle 50m to 100m away.
creature start attacking while not asked to.
creature's stay online for hours after you logged.
this are just a few that everybody no doubt knows but is everybody noticing its getting worse instead of better ?
I've seen lots of really nasty warping - and yes, I think more so recently.
Creatures start attacking if they have a poison that is ticking, or something attacks them. Other than that I haven't had a problem.
I've definitely seen pets get orphaned and stay on long after someone logs.
yes, i noticed those also...
my friend said that the reason my pet was auto-attacking was because it was bleeding....?? so i dunno
and my pets will warp EVERY time i am in a dungeon/cave (fort tusken, narglatch cave, squill cave, etc.)
I dunno maybe some big bug. i guess some of that stuff wuld happen naturalyafter a server reboot or some thing but then it is cought and channeled to another system that would be cleared after the reboot. I guess then it is possible that there could be a data leak wich would dump a good deal of that cleaned out stuff onto your file. In this case the bug wouldn't have to be too big. Or it could be an angry crazed rabid dev on a programming rampage after being stuck in a basement for weeks with only horibly flat soda to drink and some uncooked nootles to eat. I can just immagine him staring into the computer screen raving to himself about revenge as he puts the fininshing touches on his program, loads it into your file and then passen out on the desk on a puddle of his own foam and drool. Probably wouldnt happen. As I said prolly just a bug. And remember keep devs away from basements that have lockable dores from the out side. I would hate for this senario to actualy happen.
<#>/\<#>- crazed angry rabid dev
I'm still seeing some weird weird bugs.
Last night at the coronet mission terminal I was able to call the same pet twice (GCS mount). Had two of them standing there side by side. Stored each one and was still able to call it twice. May be it's the #1 slot in datapad?
It seems my mount doesn't count against CL called, though it does count against number of pets called. GCS at CL5 I could still call two BDQ's or maulers at CL34=68, plus 5 for mount =73. I could do other combinations adding up to closer to 80.
I had a twilight zone encounter in Dantooine where I went invisible, all pets dissapeared from my datapad, all inventory dissapeared from inventory, got a message "too many commands in que" or something.
Relogged after a full scan, character showed naked in thecharacter select screen(aack! I feared I had lost everything I owned!),came back online, pulled out mount and gurreck and then ran into my graul mauler and dewback still out from last login. 93CL out total. Though mauler wouldn't respond to commands. Stored all pets and went to base.
Then could not call the mount again, call function on that pet refuse to even show up, ever. Went to coronet and then I could pull out that same pet twice, but only that one GCS pet that I could not even get the radial to give me a call/store option on at all on Dant.
I'm getting nervous..... After my pets running off obeying some strangers commands the other night, I don't know what to expect next.
If a Jedi dies and clones, he does not have a TEF. My jedi has died from a TEF and when he appears in the clone center, the TEF flag is gone.
When a bounty hunter kills the jedi, his mission leaves, and so far can't be killed again until he jedi has another bounty on him.
If a bounty Hunter is waiting at the clone center with a Bounty on your head, yes, your dead meat. But the Bounty hunter who just killed you wouldn't have the bounty and wouldn't be able to kill you.
Most of the time, if you die, your name is removed from the bounty hunter terminals. and it would take 13 - 30 minutes to reappear if you are stupid to use force powers in front of another non-jedi-player.
