- The Last Item of a Stack of Looted Components Won't Be Used Up In A Factory Run
There seems to be a general bug with using crates/stacks where the last item is unusable. It's happening on crates of powerups for example. For armor, it's happening on new stacks of looted armor cores. There's an error if you try to use the very last item in the stack (say for making an armor piece). A workaround, at least for armor cores, is to split the whole
stack apart and then make sure to use the remaining core (which will still have a "1" listed as a stack of 1) as the second or third core for legs or chest.
Suggested Fix: Fix the last item in a stack so the above workaround isn’t necessary.
i can confirm that if you empty out a stack of, let's say GDK scales for instance, to the point where you last piece has a "1" on it as if there is still one left in it, it is still useable. To be able to use it follow these easy steps...
1) open your inventory.
2) select the scale or item in question.
3) double click on it(opens the examine window)
4) place it into its proper place in the schematic.
I tried this 30 times and half the time they bugged and wouldnt allow direct useage into the schematic, but when i double clicked the bugged piece, it worked 100% of the time. I'm sorry if this has been posted b4, i dont read these forums as much as i used to.

What has worked for me is taking the last itme in the stack and dropping it on the floor. After picking it back up it adds to a schematic just fine.

That's how I do it and it works the first time everytime so far.

I have had no problems with this since I started using the unstack radial option on the final "1" piece

-or- while you are crafting, after you have been given the error message on the item, open your invenory and bring up the radial for the item giving you the trouble. Then try it, works eveytime for me.
