Do you lose any unused factional schematics when you drop a faction? Thinking of dropping imperial to do some rebel armor, but still have some unused imperial schematics and don't want to lose before I can use them.

On a related note, you also don't lose them if you happen to drop Master Armorsmith. I'm not even a novice at the moment (still got mah respec token 
) and they are still in my datapad.

No, you will keep them. You can carry all six sets if your heart so desires.
