Thread: 2 simple questions
I tried to search but couldn't find anything relevant. I have an advanced probot.
1) Explain recharging. I can and do make droid batteries. How can I tell (other than "low power") how long a charge lasts or how much to get back to max charge? I know storage recharges the driod, right? I am just looking for a better understanding of my recharging options and indicators.
2) The "customization" (or something like that)driod spec listedin the data pad when you select your droid. It has a number that keeps going down for my Probot with 10 storage. It started at 19 and is down to 16 after a couple of days. What does this mean and what happens when it hits 0?
Thanks in advance for any answers.
I suggest reading the new "FAQ" thread in this forum.
1) Recharging right now is utterly pointless unless you have a droid called for an exceptionaly long time ... which basicaly means the only people that need to charge droids right now are those using probots as tanks. There is no current way to find out the charge of your droid until it has run out giving the "low power" message, and when the droid stops responding to commands. One battery *should* get it back to max charge, but I heard this depends on some types of droids. I've never had a droid called long enough to find out.
2) The customisation number is half of the new coding to customise droids. However, the other half isn't working yet ... so this number doesn't do anything. It can be 0 and you wouldn't notice a difference. How it *WILL* work is that we will be able to "paint" your droid. As you use the droid that number will go down. As it declines, the base colour of the droid (the current colours) will begin to show through the new colour until it has completly reverted to base colours.

Short of someone calling their droid out and constantly giving it comands and timeing it till it says *low power* we don't know. Although it is one of the things we want to see added to droids so that we can know how charged it is. And yes storing a droid recharges it.

That means your droid is dieing, it will be dead when the customization reaches 0.
Of course I am kidding, actually it deals with the droids paint job and is a feature that isn't even in game so basicly right now it means nothing.
Sorry, what are CA's?

A master AS normally has 10 eperimentation points which you get with master AS, if you use CA's to the value of +20 you get an extra 2 experimatation points.... thus 12pt.
works for most crafting proessions aswell.
RIS armour (Reinforced Insulated Sheath) is the type that looks kinda like a composite/samurai?? cross. It's a kind of battle armour.
To become certified to make it, a master AS has to do the RIS quest.
All the info you could want is in the AS guide stickies.
he he i'll field this one![]()
ever noticed on the clothing that you have your toon wearing has something called "sockets" they only occur on certain clothing, like shirts and trousers, shoes, hats, gloves, and belts.... well into these sockets you are able to add to them "clothing attachments", which are specialised skill modifiers, they can also be known as "tapes"
there are many types of CA ranging from, combat modifiers and camoflage assisting tapes to the ones that we all try to aquire being armour assembly and experimentation tapes, note that these at times can be quite expensive and are often hard fought for on the trade forums. these tapes adjust the skills that you are capable of, which you can see the modifications aftre adding a tape to a item of clothing you are wearing in your ctrl c menu and the skills box in the bottom left... you will see your currant score for example armour assembly 100/+23 which means that you have managed to collect tapes adding up to +23 and entered into your clothes. please also note that once these tapes are combined with clothing then the tape cannot be taken off the item.
there are also AA's which are armour attachments, obviously they are specifically for armour in the same way.
anyway that is the brief version hope it helped![]()
Thanks for the answer, i don't fully understand, but guess I will when I get to that level
I think there's a very informative post in the Game Guides forums.
Don't have a link, but try searching the first few pages and you'll find it.
