Your stats are okay. Protection is what sells. You should work on breaking 2000, then 2200, then 2400. The Mk. 3s I started today were 2478 protection with 61.7 recharge (I think). That's with 12 experimentation points and one amazing success.
The choice between recharge and condition has been debated. There are some who would say recharge (I'm among these) simply because people can always go buy more PSGs from you so why worry about condition? Recharge does affect how long it takes a PSG to charge up when you equip it. Some folks say the recharge rate also effects how quickly the PSG loses protection under fire. Reports from tests done by the carbineer correspondents say the recharge rate made no difference in protection. I haven't checked out that post yet. Others say recharge helps when you're under a larger volume of fire from multiple opponents. More testing is needed.

thats a bit more than id shoot for, but its good to know whats considered jaw dropping.
i just need to know whats not an embarassment to put on a vendor, i hate seeing things for sale that are utter crap, ) i like to have at least a few taking mine over another based on craftsmanship

yeah they actyally look ok for starter shields. Remember the component stats dont matter AT ALL! only the last three resources used in the final combine matter.

got an order for a PSG, ive been mostly specializing in armor, so it was my first PSG.
Guy wanted a Mk 3, surprisingly it was pretty easy to make. Even without hunting for resource.
Final product was roughly
6230 cond
1993 energy prot
57.4 recharge rate.
Is this Horrible? I concentrated most of my exp points on energy prot via customer request.
Im only a 10 point AS, 11 point MA.
I am under the popular belief that recharge is king in PSG's. IS that myth?
A few questions that come with this, is there any hidden factor on the no stat components IE Deflect shield protector plate. It had no stats listed and no chance for experimentation. But could there still be an underlying influence from those parts?
Next the Energy distrib and p-conditioner i believe.. i filled the effectivness then stuck the remaining points in condition. Is this the way to go?
Finally, which of the above stats would sell best? Recharge, Protection, or Condition? Which ones would be best left un experimented, if any?
If i need to go back to drawning board on this then let me know )
Thanks in advance.

Are normal (non-factional) mark 3 PSGs capped at 2400 or was I lucky enough to make mine with that protection?
I made 300pieces with 2400 protection, 66 recharge, condition something like 7500. I am a 12pt AS andI used only extreme hq stuff even on the artisan components.

i believe they are capped at 2499, the components dont change anything, only the resources in the final combine matter.

i have been able to achieve 3389 energy protection without to much effort, just used good resources and have 12 points of experimentation.
