So I was minding my own business by my factories, pulling out crates of freshly made segments, cores and final pieces (of the few colours that are reliable) when I had to leave the keyboard for a couple of minutes. My factory yard is about 10m outside the city limits of my home on Corellia, normally a fairly safe place to be. Anyway, upon returning I immidiately saw the red combat icon, health halfway down, and myself in a boxing stancefrom the 18th century, doing nothing.
I was under attack by a mighty level 6 Diseased Vrelt.
Since I am a level 1, I knew this creature was death incarnate and hit /burstrun to flee from the scene. I was confident I had escaped when the game thoughtfully rubber banded me right back to the nest. Incapped. And not just that, but triple incap. While I had been away, I had already been incapped twice without knowing. Before I knew what was happening, I was on my way to the cloner, realising a second too late that a friend that could rez was in the city.
Ouch. (I used another 4 letter word to describe my feelings in-game)
I normally don't mind travelling as level 1 on Dathomir or Lok (I am not kidding...) as long as I am prepared andis not wearing my crafting suit and holding a large number of cores, segments, faction armor etc...you name it. This hurt. Now, I could blame SOE, the Devs, lack of proper protection for crafters, an ill-conceived level based combat system, the return of rubber banding nonsenseetc etc, but that would not be constructive.
I blame the Vrelts.
So I have started a campaign for the total extinction of all Vrelts in the Universe. To that effect I want to rent a Super Star Destroyer to do some serious carpet bombing of Corellia. I am having some minor issues with the Mayor of my city who feels it might be a bit excessive, but I will work out the small details later. The problem is that I can't find any SSDs, tried to send a ticket, but the CSR responded "The Super Star Destroyers are working as intended, please close this ticket..." or something like that.Any helpers?
I am all open for alternative solutions, the criteria is that the Vrelts will hurt.Just as much as I was hurt. Bombing them back to the Stone Age is not good enough, I want to blow them back to the Big Bang.
I am sure some of you have a similar frustration, maybe directed to a particular faction or species (I am having a hard time with some NPCs in Bestine too), and perhaps we could work out some devious plan to rid the Universe of these pests. If we all group together we will become...uhm...like a big group of level 1s!

i live on lok and get attacked bye lvls 45's next to my factories and these are 10m outside my city as well i wish there was some way we could get an exclusion zone around our factories

I agree with you a 100% Thula. I got ganked picking up resources on Correlia . I did not catch the name of the creature, but it looked like a butterfly.

I have never been in a Super Star Destroyer. Is there really such a thing for players? If so can we really zap all the critters?

We need a nest bomb. A device that only level 1 characters can use. We will be able to run up to a nest/lair and use an option from the radial menu on the nest/lair as long as we have one of these bombs in our inventory. Once we use the option, it will place a bombin the nest and start a countdown. Once the countdown starts, we hit burst run and get the heck out of dodge!
10 seconds later, BOOM! Bye-bye nest. /evilgrin
There is nothing I hate more than a nest or two preventing me from placing a harvestor.
This nest bomb can be made by Droid Engineers (like MSE bomb droids), Bio-engineers (to make the bomb undetectable by the creature in that lair via planet specific DNA modules), Weaponsmiths (for the demolition part. Warheads anyone?), Armorsmith (to make the bomb housing), Tailors (to sew up a creature skin for the bomb), Chefs (don't know what they can do), and Artisan (for the thing that makes the bomb tick). Oh, and Architects can make a wall module for the bomb.

Funny thing is, I travel to Dath a lot and haven't been incap once. I got to check my factories and harvestors ranging from 10m to 1000m from my home and it's a battle..... I just want some artisan armor. I don't need anything major, just something to let me live 10 seconds longer to get away....

im a DE too, and i just made me a lvl capped probot with the storage and crafting stations i need. Lvl 30 ownage on guard will let me laugh at anything on my home of tatooine, be it noobs laughing at my lvl 1 or desert demons shooting at me, (Protector) kills em all.

Thats a good dam Idea...Normally I load my alt on my laptop to stand guard while Im doing factory runs. Ill hafta talk to a DE about this...Pretty Kool! So dam simple and rite in front of ur face.

This is what I have. Now it works pretty good in most cases. My factories are on Dant. My problem is that these lvl 68 Dark Force NPC's love to hang out around my factories also. I have put sign up that said no bums allowed but they don't listen

I am offically uber and have been for a month or two...
my little CL1 AS routinely clobbers CL6 baddies. You should hear me in guildchat or in vent when a lair of durnies or vrelts moves in next to my factories, I turn into a deranged murdering psychopath. what do I owe my new found uberness to you might ask... a pre-nerf republic blaster. Spend all your hard earned credits on one they will pay for themselves in no time. mind you that cl 11 npcs are too much for me although any of the lairs of cl6 evilness are no match for me and my trusty blaster.
