I'm finally going to craft some armor post-cu....
- For imperial faction armor, what layers would you use for the Assault, Battle, and Recon armor? I was thinking primus for everything, but then I saw a post recommendingenergy layers for the battle & recon, and kinetic layers for the assault armor.Your opinions?
- Also, are there anycurrent bugs to be aware of, or reasons to postpone my crafting?
Thanks in advance for the help ![]()

I think primus is best for everything too. Energy layers reduce kinetic protection. With the larg number of kintic rifles in PvP, I think primus is better. I do make some 8k energy for scout, because of demand. I like to make Kinetic protection Assualt armor, but not for faction. Thats hunting armor and it would be a waste to chew up a faction suit in PvE.

Agree. Kinetic and energy layers have specific applications. Energy layered recon is popular among jedi hunters. Some bounty hunters will ask for energy layered assault or battle if they don't have the full certs for recon. Kinetic layered assault would be great for big game hunters who plan on playing tag with kimos. Primus layered is definitely the most flexible options and will slightly improve any suit.
