Thread: 'Factory Ate My Left Sock' bug

Every time i try to make battle segments, the factory eats too much resources and stops early because it runs out. Yes, you heard me. Example: 25 units of amorphous gem needed per segment, i use 1000-use schematic, i put in 300 units. that's enough for 12 segments. But only 8 come out and mail says factory stopped because the gem is all gone...
it happened 3 times on 3 factories, yes they had enough maint/power, yes they had enough other resources, yes i tried using a new factory, yes i sent a ticket, no they didn't respond yet, AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!! All the other resources got eaten too, and the exact same problem happens with battle cores...
*sniff* somebody hold me....![]()
Damn, Now that you mention it I think I'm encountering the same thing and I was thinking I just couldn't count sometimes...
While we are on the Subject ---> Know what would be really Kewl Dev's? A little clicky button that if we have the right amount of the ingredients for the schematic in our inventory it would automatically put the right amount into the ingredient hopper?
Remember if you want to get any attention around here you need to whine like a nerfed Jedi! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa
guess what... like the good as i am i just bend over and take what they shove my way... wont even bother starting to log all my factory runs as i know once i do theyll say they cant help me because its a dev matter... hooooray for armorcrafting!
very distressing... i had a friend do some testing, and he made the same components with the same materials in the same factories, and absolutely nothing went wrong. when I do it, it breaks. i'm making a huge run right now, and i'm taking screenies of every step to prove my math skills are not at fault. i am a respec AS, maybe that has something to do with it? some kind of coding error? i'm pretty much grasping at straws here.... i also noticed that the factories ate almost exactly 33% of my resources. what about you guys? if we work out all the details for ourselves, we might make the problem easy enough for even a dev to fix ![]()
if this continues, i will either have to plan for failure and makeabout12,000 extra layers for each major factory run, or have another armorsmith do all of my crafting for me... /cry
