Thread: Producing armor for both factions?

only an AS of that faction can produce that armor. so you could do both, but that would kinda suck cause you want to be colonel before you start buying the schemes because of faction perks as a colonel. so lets see...about 4mill extra credits to get colonel added to 10 suits. not bad, only an additional 400k cost. so yeah..i guess you could do it!

No need to go up to colonel. I go up about 3 ranks each time i switch and buy everything at that level. It's still cost me less than if I wasn't a smuggler to just buy the faction. The only drawback for me is giving up some merchant skills.

hmm...that is intersting..but kinda makes sense. smugglers do get a good discount in faction. which makes me ponder this:

If smugglers get a discount on factional stuff. why did the empire break down on slicing? hmmm

I see on the Armorsmith listing that some people do faction armor for both sides. I'm a master smuggler as well as armorsmith, so I figure if anybody can do that its a smuggler. Can I make both sides armor with this character, or does it require having two armorsmiths on opposing factions?
