Thread: WHAT HAPPNED TO MY TAPES??

ok heres the deal trying to make my +12. i bought some tpes rdy to laod into my 4 socket clothes. i loaded first tape +2 ae and +2 crap i dont need used 2 sockets no biggie got the +2 for a deal. then i loaded 2 +1 aes into same piece dissapered and didn't get stats.CAN U ONLY LOAD ONE TAPE PER PIECE??

only one tape of each type will stick. The highest will stick

If you had loaded the +1 first and then the +2 you would have ended up with +2 as it overwrites the +1

i made that very same mistake long ago =)

well thats crap that makes it real expensive to get your 20. do u really think it is worth it??

yes...when you get a good success you will still beable to hit your max condition and such. it is well worth the coin to get these tapes. but don't bust your bank account to get them. take your time. i haven't seen one person on my server that cares about condition of the armor. now i guess they would if there was like a 20k difference. but that is different

Yeah tapes help but depending on what server your on I woudlnt spend -tooo- much on them. Alot of people jack up the priceson them because they are stil thinking of them in terms of pre-CU where a 12pt armorsmith was definately superior to a 10 or 11 as thsoe extra points could go into protection or HAM reduction or what ever. Now it's just resist (Which any 10pt can max out) and condition. And even those extra 2 points of condition dont help all -that- much. It does make it abit more dureable sure. But I've yet to have anyone seem to care about the difference between armro conditions. They just care about resists.

Yup, 12point AS is nothing more than Bragging rights... being 4404 Force Crafting 12pt Exp, +25 Assembly Armorsmith is just overkill... Like shooting a cockroach with a Bazooka

12 points equals bragging rights and establishes you as a smith that knows what they are doing. Experimenting on condition is still being debated as to its usefulness however I think it does help... will post another time after I have a chance to do a few experiments with it. One thing I have noticed before that when I wear my 12 pt / +120 assembly suit I get 4 sockets pieces much easier now and a lot less critical failures too. More amazing success with the experimenting and assembly too


In short 12 pt is very much worth it still
