Thread: anyone founda reason to use layers other than kin/en/primus?

has anyone found a reason, creature, weapon that anywhere gives a reason to use other layers like heat/cold, wet/dry, nice/nasty, whatever.... still trying to find something that does other than energy or kinetic in values large than low 100s?

Nope, there is absolutely no reason to layer for anything but kinetic, energy, or primus.

I can't see any reason to use them unless at some point, weapons get the ability to do more elemental damage than energy or kinetic. Perhaps lightsabers with different crystals might be an example, but at this point, it seems like the elemental damage is such a low % of the total damage, adding elemental resistance at the cost of kin/en doesn't make any sense.
However (dont know if I want to open up THIS can of worms), if they added an extra layer slot that was solely for non primus/kinetic/energy, you might see some reason to use the secundas, tertius, or elemental layers. (OMG - more factory time)
