I find the mabari chests are still the best.... they don't have specific resource requirements, just "hide" and "metal", and at about 440xp per combine (on practice) you get there alot faster than with repair tools...

lol nice and cordial, I like it... I am an anti-grinding advocate, also known as a purist. I say the same thing to EVERYONE that posts a "how to grind" post, so dont take it too personally. I know full well I have my way and you have yours. But you ask for my opinion, you're gonna get it... IMHO you are only hurting yourself when you grind since you will be back here in a few weeks asking why you can only get 30% composite made, and not a whole lot of people answer those threads like they do these because at that point everyone has their "secret formula". So, off of my soap box, have fun grinding, make sure you flex your wrists and hands every once in a while, carpal tunnel is no fun!

I think the problem Blue Faction person is that he did not ask for your opinion. At least not the way you presented it. So either stay on target, be helpful or just don't respond.

I grind two items. In a crafting macro that is listed on another page on these forums I grind tantel armour pieces. They give 45 xp only but take very few resources and the xp occurs rather quickly. I do close to 1000 xp per minute. When I am in front of a station I grind Deflector shield Projector plates. They give out 85 xp for nothing in resources. 15 non-ferrous, 15 copper and 10 ore. You don't have to mess with hides. Save all the hides you can for when it comes time to actually make things (which no one wants to do until you have Tech IV.) I am going to include the crafting macro that I use. I don't use it as an alias however. I use it in game in the space that is provided. Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Mambari chestplates are the way to go till you can do ubese shirts. Ubese shirts still offer a decent amount of xp, while having a much simplified resource requirement.

I am no expert at this. I just have novice armorsmith. But take your time, there is no rush to get master. sure you will be poor, for a while, but grinding is not worth it. If you need to make money selling armor, try advertising it as furniture, always works for me.
