Thread: Have We Forgotten This: Chest Plate Condition
I think ubese and mabari chest plates are overdue for a bump in condition.

Mabari takes seven cores since it covers the full arms. But no greater condition.
did they fix it so you cant wear other armpieces over the mabari?
Actually, Mabari chestplates do get a little higher condition.. My chestplates come out at a little above 50k while the helmets and pants are 48k+ (yes, I use the exact same materials and yes, I experiment them fully).
On another note, shouldn't these items have more sockets than their individual-arm-pieces-set counterparts? It seems a little unfair that mabari has a max of 12 armor sockets while tantel has 28.

I don't think anyone forgot, we just have far more important issues that are *STILL* unresolved
QFE! Wook Armor is finally working properly, and they get so few choices for protection, in short they have much bigger fish to fry that is causing our profession so much grief!

That's a good point about the sockets. I hadn't gotten that far in my reasoning. I'd just like to see the discrepancies among the chest plates on our list of issues. We wouldn't want to run out of issues, now, would we?

while myself being a AS i understand your point but me also having a wook alt i would say they need to fix the wook armor decay first. in a hard couple hours of grinding i can lose up to 10k off chest/pants cond. no other armor has decayed so fast on my other toons. it has been like this since wook armor was put in game. no one has ever seemed to care about it and since the cu circus the prices has went up and the quality has went down when you can actually find it on a vendor. sadly i cant seem to find the magic combo to make decent wook armor myself and am dependant on others for my alts armor.
Fine by me. Armor decay and everything related to it (repair and condition) seems pretty whacky. Wook chests are getting chewed up because helmets are second in rate of decay behind leggings. Same thing with a mabari chest plates, although to a lesser extent. The damage to the chest AND the arms is being taking from a single condition pool.
I doubt we'll see any attention paid to this anytime soon. The player base doesn't seem to be up in arms about it. Yet. I just think our profession should advocate for everyone else. While this may not be a top 5 issue, I'd call it a top 10.

Ummmm yes we would
With regard to sockets, I look at it as swings and roundabouts if anyone is familar with that saying
Sure mabari have less sockets compared to a bracers, biceps set of armor. However, I can adk a suit of mabari with 3 adks, takes 7 for a suit of tantel. So each armor has advantages and disvantages, much better that way, otherwise folks would all go for a sinlge choice, pre CU comp anyone?
Now the lack of additional condition on ubeseand mabari jackets is a difference I would like to see addressed.
