I finally quit grinding, Currently @ 4xx4 and decided to complete the tree while actually crafting something and not practicing on Ubese shirts. My first run was 10% kinetic Ubese Set. Now to figure out which resources to harvest/mine in order to get this up to at least 60%. I don't know why I bothered with combat. I have more fun experimenting and Cranking Armor out with my name on it.

I'm enjoying myself as well... although i'm trying to craft every possible type of armor...
i'm overloading on supplies and such...
i find it difficult to get the specific resources for the advanced types of armor segments...
plus... i seem to be getting many failures/moderate failures...
i think this may be a noobish question... but how exactly does experimentation work? I mean i see the bar go up and down... and i try to time it... etc... but i can't seem to figure a pattern to get the "great" or "amazing" result...
i grinded AS 4.x.x.1 and i still don't understand the layering thing...
any help or suggestions would be appreciated...

As a rough guide, you should be able to hit around 45% kinetic ubese with 4004 AS, with decent materials. It'll go higher with really good materials, but 45 is a good aiming point.
If you want to get to 55-60%, then you'll also need to pick up Kinetic Layers. It is possible to sell your way to Master, but you will find that master AS's on your server will really benefit from those extra 3 experiment points they have, so you'll have to drop price a *lot* to stay in business.
I sold my way from 4004 to master on one of my AS's, and it was hard, like 3 months hard, even a year and a bit ago when there weren't many AS's around. You'll need to find an alternative revenue source while you do it.. mining resources works well to cover the costs of building your resource collection!

Yea its hard to sell your way to master nowadays but its also alot cheaper to master proffesions because of all the resources around now, getting the high qual when you need them is a bit harder if you dont have any money but taking loans to friends and showing your dedicated to try to make a profit with the proffesion works
