sigh... sorry just had to complain to my armorsmith brethren... after makin 8 pieces of composite, i had 6 crit. fails in a row on the next 6 pieces. quite frustrating...

Go sacrifice yourself to a kreetle or something when that happens

Ugh, I know how you feel. I searched out the galaxy for sets peko feathers larger than 5 so I can make RIS layers to go into composite.
I finally get 2 sets of 5, just enough to make RIS layer schematics then a composite schematic. What happens, critical on the comp segment.
I was so mad, just quit playing for the day and now have to look for more sets of feathers...
Good news is that my 0/0/0 gloves sell real well at 200k+

How high was your BF?
I am certain from my own experience that high bf will increase the likelihood of failled experiments and repairs.

I've had this happen to me as well....some days it seems more frequent than others. Bye the same token, some days I get more critical success rolls other days. It is frustrating as heck, but usually waiting a few hours or a day to craft those schematics helps.

yeah shin... 11pt master... all excellent resources... all heavily into the green...
haven't checked me bf... didn't think about that. and yeah ive noticed a pattern too, some days ill have a rack of crit fails, and others ill have loads of awesome successes. you win some, you lose some lol.

Ohh wow you know i think you are right ! I was making droid data modules the other night and i was pulling crites and moderate, like 5 outa 6.. Took me 30 mins before i got a good one my BF was 300.. guess i know i will be making sure its low next time i craft !
