Well, I got the RIS quest done and went to look in my bank... had these layers in there 10% base -10 to something else. So how should they go in? Can I do one of those, one kinetic, and something else?

I think that would depend on the quality of your yellow geo cubes and janta hides.

use more NS layers if you want to substitute janta hide for NS shard etc.

when i get some scales I intend to makeand acid/stun/ns layer helmwith 5% janta and 6% cube. Still have to calculate what my i need for 80 kin

Well, I don't have any janta hides but I do have 7% yellows.

Track down armorsmith's little helper and use it to 'test' the components you have, then use what ever is required to go just over 80% base..

Using the best resources available for Shadowfire which is usually Oq of 900 or more and SR=gate or near gate. I find that I would need about 23% base total for all layers and enhancements to hit 80% base using the Interwoven schematic.

But, if you really want to know for sure how to do it for your server. Make a helm without using1-3/13 Kineticlayer and base components. For experimentation max out the special on the segment then throw the rest of your pts into base. For final combine experiment a few pts until you get 80% kinetic then throw the rest of your pts on base. Take 80 and subtract it from the final base of your helm. Thatwill give you a thepercent you needed to hit 80%.

ie.. using base component for Shadowfire I know my helm will turn out to be arround 69% base. Which will require an extra 11% to hit 80% base. Which means I will have to look for components with stats above base by 11% before I make my RIS pcs.
