Since the new pub i have seen a bit of a drop in creature organics as most hunters turn into looters as they can get more money from selling loot than selling hides to AS.
Why should they sell 20k hide to us for 500k when they can make millions selling pearls on the trade forum or krayt tissues .. with this happening i'm finding it harder and harder to get my hands on hides from rangers or even scouts .. i can't even find a ranger to take a contract atm.
anyone else seeing this to ?

If you're only offering 25cpu, I suppose that might be a problem for you. On my server, the second best leathery ever is in shift at the moment. I've been offering 55cpu (while others go 35-65cpu) and I'm getting as much as I'd like. Then again, it might have to do with your circle of rangers. Finding the right ones can make all the difference.

not too much, I have my crafter in a sister guild to a PvP guild and all the jedi grinders and non PvP'ers supply me with plenty atm... mabey oneday I'll run out of jedi grinders but not soon.
Those are your best best, they have to hunt critters, in large quantities and they go through them pretty quick, make frineds with a few and your set on resources. There's a poin in the grind where you have plenty of skill points becuase you finally had to drop your original combat class, so you can burn 15 sp for novice scout, and can keep this till almost the end of their grind.
The extra money they get from selling your the resources would really help them out, since running missions is borked on payout, and their free unlock ususlly isn't developed yet, due to the excitement of getting jedi.

The price of pearls are dropping, but if a really good hide spawns it can go for up to 200cpu so when the good stuff comes around it is not hard to find takers, and there are always the diehard rangers out there who like nothing better then to go get some hide.
