Thread: Stockpiling Resources for Adv Ubese

I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what kind of stats I could get on adv ubese with the resources I've collected - I'm not master yet so I dont want to waste any until I get there but just wanted your opinions - only really interested in resists until I can get 12 exp points so here goes....

Neutronium Steel - OQ 986 SR 703
Axidite Iron - OQ 903 SR 613
Fiberplast - OQ 991 SR 985
Polymer - OQ 994 SR 890
Wooly Hide - OQ 975 OQ 987
Leathery Hide - OQ 929 SR 879

Amorphous Gemstones - OQ 930 SR 438

I've seen Ubese on my server with 78% Kinetic Resist, I know I'm not gonna ever be able to get that high with my resources and only 10 points but do you think I'll be able to get to 70% ?

You'll need generic steel and iron as well. You do not want to use up your neutronium and axidite where you don't have to.

Plus it's fairly easy to find iron and steel with better sr then axidite and neutronium. Duralloy steel's all have high shock, just gotta track down and mine a spawn with high oq as well. Dolovite iron is the same way. Neutronium and axidite both have gated shock resists, duralloy and dolovite have shock resists in the 900's (I believe).

Once you have fairly decent generic iron and steel you should be producing 75%ish ubese I would guess, going by the resources you have listed there. (verra nice fiberplast btw *drool*)

For ubese you'll be able to max out your resists with only 10 points without any problem. All 12 points will do for you is lower ham. Only the low end armors, made with great resources is where 12 points will increase resists (maberi , tantel). Those are really great resources ( except the gem) . Using similar resources I hit 77% ( but better gem). With that gem, it'll knock a full point off your armor. You will of course want to pick up a nice metal for your layers ( preferably analuminum ( usually phrik), which tends to have great mall, as well as high oq/sr). A generic iron with900+/900+ oq/sr won't be that hard to find either, within a few shifts.

I think you'll get close to 80% with those materials.

I used to hit 69-70% with pisspoor axidite and ok Neutronium.

I agree that you will need some generic high quality iron and steel for the production of your ubese armor. You have a nice collection of resources there, although I dont think you will get to 75% with the amorphous gemstone you have. Low 70ies should be relatively easy though.

I don't think the low stats on the gemstone will hurt that much, they're only a very small part of the layers after all. (8 units out of 36 units total if I recall correctly)

My guess is that the crappy gemstone will cost you 1% kinetic resist. The rest will depend to a large extent on the iron and steel you will use.

Dolovite iron seems to have an SR range somewhere around 700-900. Kammris iron generally spawns with over 900 for SR and has hit 1000 on some servers.

Well the current shift of iron is OQ 857, SR 877 and as for steel, OQ 975 SR 943 is available to me but the seller wants 74cpu (last auction sold for 82 cpu) the next best that available isnt very good - only about 800+ on both

Assuming you use that new steel/iron you talked about you should be able to hit these stats with your materials:

37% Kinetic from armor

25% Kinetic from Segment

14% Kinetic from Layer

This will sit you right at about 76% Special on your completed LAYERED Ubese
