i have a set of 8 chitin armour segs from geo cave looted from enhanced kliknics ...they are +32% to base and -to all hams.. i know u need dant bone to make it..and cannot find any with good stats and have not found an armor smith that is even willing to make chitin armour..is it really that bad and just a waste of time. should this be used in a set of display armor or should i just trash them?

i have two sets of 58-61% kinetc, 17-22% base chitin, presliced

the really wonderful thing is the low ham costs...... 32% base, plus lower HAM costs would be really useful

Those segments you have replace the smith made ones, so you don't need dantooine animal bone. You just need a generic bone high in oq/sr for the final combine ( along with the other ingredients). With segments that nice, I'd recommend waiting for nice final combine ingredients too, rather than slapping it together with just anything.

Bring it to Rodeo Drive in Brenn, I think i can help you out. I have a set of Chittin on display to show you how good I can make it. Those segment have great stats don't let it go to waste.

The only problem with these is the kinetic resist. I was only able to get around 35-40% using kliknik segs. Granted, I used the low lvl ones to test out, but they have no stats for the special resist. So it only goes as high as you can experiment the final combine.

I gave the set to a guy I saw running gnort missions out of Coronet.

Thanks Adaiwo for the segmnent,

The Chitin I made was great! I end up with 28k condition and 60% base and 14% kinetic on the armor. The Chest piece got encumbrance slice, I can't remember exact stats but it's below encbrance of mabari armor. The leg piece had a 24% effective slice which put the base at 72%. HAM on mind on both pieces is 2.

It's on display at Rodeo Drive in Brenn on Shadowfire.

What the base start off on that at? I'm guessing around 38-40%?
