nice work on the chest piece about 15pts lower than i got from my attempt, and after a 31 slice i was down to 128, 15, 14 on the chest piece. so far only chest/helm/gloves are completed

I've been collecting NS layers and shards for quite a long time to make this set with and am quite happy with the results.

I targeted High Base, but not extremely high since I want to slice it and wanted the slice to help out which ever way it went.. No need to wast exceptonal layers making something 80% with higherencumb to only get a protect slice.. so it was a balancing act..

These number are Unsliced (meeting up with my slicer later).. Baseincludes all stats but Elect (and stun of course). Don't love the arms, but i was running low on good layers so had to use a couple of my regular 4% 9/9/9 elect layers to make up the diff. I'll post sliced stats as soon as i get it done. Here's hoping I get base and encumb where I want it ..

Stats before Slicing:

HA M Base
Boots 6 / 6 / 3 68
Legs:54 / 121 /8 65
Chest: 181/ 19 / 18 74
Helm:12 / 3 /249 72
Bicep: 35 / 31/ 33 69
Bicep: 35 / 31/ 33 69

Bracer: 35 / 31/ 33 69

Bracer: 35 / 31/ 33 69
Gloves 12/ 0 / 9 73
Total HAM Unsliced:
405/ 273/ 419

-----------------------------------------------------------

UPDATED: Just got it sliced.. Especilally happy with the chest!

Stats After Slicing:

HA M Base
Boots 6 / 6 / 3 76
Legs:39 /88 /6 65
Chest: 181/ 19 / 1890

Helm:12 / 3 /249 84

Bicep:24 /22/ 23 69
Bicep: 35 / 31/ 33 79

Bracer:22 /19/21 69

Bracer:24 /21/22 69
Gloves 9/ 0 /7 73
Total HAM Sliced:
352 / 209 / 382

Looks like a suit that a Carbineer could use without it being a farking deathtrap while unbuffed.

Nice job man. Nice job, It's good to see someone actually make armor instead of making a gazillion suits of the same old grey compo. (or white or red or whatever the hell color every single suit you make is)

Thanks..

Everyone has their place. I gave up long ago making tons of mass produced items. There is a great market for that and some awsome smiths that do that well.. I presonally prefer to treat my craft as an Art. Sure there are time I have to slap some top end stuff through the factories to keeps the creds rolling in.. (I don't want to be a starving artist after all) but doing stuff like this is far more fun.

That is some sweet armor.

I made some NS layer/shard gloves last night for a friend. Decided to stick with 5% layers like yourself, but had som -30/-25/-18 shards that resulted in 73%base, 80% elec 0 0 9 ham. Ofcourse he got an enc slice for 0 0 7 ham
