yesterday there was a thread that was about Imp shield Gens and looking to make sure that they had proper resists and durability. A couple of the responses said that AS's had crafted shield gens with LS resist allready. One reply was from a Master AS on Valcyn that said he had crafted LS resist allready. The message thread has been deleted and I can't find these shield gens anywhere. Were they in game and removed? or am I just out in left field imagineing that I read this?

if it was crafted with LS resists, it had to be on test center.

untill you start seeing LS vulnerabilities on new armors, there wont be psgs with resists so don't worry it isn't here yet

If I understood correctly, restraint damage is being replaced with lightsaber damage. So while nothing now except for PSGs protect versus restraint, it will be the same with lightsaber damage.

and so does composite it can protect up to 90% i think it is a new damage type they are not renaming restraint

new damage type, imperial psgs i had with 46%base, now on TC valcyn have 46%lightsabre resist of course this can be sliced upto 62%base, so pretty decent light sabre resist, got to remember to keep on changing em as they wear out.

ok dumb question comin up say the new psg's do get light saber resists will our pre made/purchased psg's update or will they not have lightsaber resists...until we make new ones???

Tantel armor was offering protection vs lightsaber, until they nerfed it. I made one piece of 19% LS resistant Tantel (very low quality materials) but it shows LS under vulnerabilities now... Dunno if it was intended then they changed their minds, or if it was just a bug.
