Thread: Tantel has NO Vulnerability !
But for LS, I would wait a little before saying it isn't a bug.

From Our Correspondent's Guide:
Tantel Armor
Special Resistance: Energy
Vulnerabilities: Acid, Stun, Blast, Electricity
Tantel is an ancient armor that consists of a helm, boots and chest plate. There are no tantel arms, legs, or gloves. Tantel comes in a wide variety of colors and is also very light. It is a favorite among those who do PvP as it's main protective element is energy. For those that like a low encumbrance armor then Tantel is the way to go.
Obtained at: Personal Armor II
I have not tried to make any Tantel since Publish 9, but is it really confirmed that these four vulnerabilities are in fact base protections? If so, then I suppose the FAQ should be updated.
My understanding on lightsaber damage is that it may list it as a base protection, but that that is merely a display error and it offers no such protection.
My real interest, however, is not lightsaber damage but stun. I would very much like to know from anyone who has made post-Publish 9 Tantel whether it does indeed have NO vulnerabilities to the damage types listed in the FAQ.
Thanks.
- Tantel does not have LS resist and is not supposed to get it. The initial LS resist after crafting is a bug, it should not be there. You lose the LS resist displayed when you retrieve it from a vendor, when you lof off for a while or after server reset.
- Tantel has no vulnerability other than LS. The base protection affects everything else, inclusing stun.
Hope that helps,
