Thread: padded armor, my first attempt

Just wondering if the resists i came out with are common for twin kinetic layered padded. My end result was 64% kinetic, with a 42% base. Biggest problem at the moment is this was a custom order, and ive only just mastered, so i was stuck with 10 OQ, 223 SR Yavin wooley. I used 2base, 14 kin experimented kin layers, and was able to max out both the 2nd and 3rd row on the seg (i think it was 45% max - i hate crap wooley...). I think i got 26% kinetic segs, cant remember what the base experiment was.
This armor any good? and what would u think would be an average price on most servers for this type of stuff (i plan to mass produce it, once i get better wooley)

The padded armor I make has 74% kinetic and 46% base resist. Replacing your Yavinian Wooly Hide high quality hides will get you there. I sell mine for around 125 k per suit, which is cheap.

just out of curiousity (sp?) how much does comp sell for on ur server, to get a price compare...im selling 2 custom suits toa customer for 50k a suit, and i thought i was expensive o.0....comp armor on our server usually costs 175-200k for a 80/80/67 kin suit

My composite armor (80% kinetic, 79% electricity, 70% base) goes for 125-150 k. So thats about the same price as the padded. Prices on my server vary widely though.

Question about Padded: Say I have an AS use high quality resources and stuff, but they use 20% base rancor padded armor layers. What would the stats end up as?

worse than mine....i think i had 28% base...cant remember though, ill double check

nm, my base is lower than that....the base will be better, but that dont meen that it will be great...probably 60% at BEST

I'm selling 71% Kinetic, 44% Base suits on Scylla for 350-400k a piece! The price is so high because some armorsmiths were charging 500k for 76% suits, so everyone on the server knew it was pricey stuff. Anyways, I'm incredibly happy about the high demand for Padded, and hopefully, people will want Adv. Chitin as well
