Thread: What exactly can you make with NS armor layers

Ok so I looted like 8 exceptional NS armor layers with stats:
6% effectiveness
-14 action encumbrance
Are these at all useful or should I destroy them?

You can put them into any type of armor, Say you stick 1 in a composite segment you would get 7 segments which you could turn into 1 chestplate and 1 helmet. 1 of those with my kinetic layers would put you at 74% base resist before slice.

Sell them, they are worth more as components than being used in armor.

are these actually "exceptional" or is that your wording for them? ive gotten higher before which i guess is strange

thats weird i got a set of 8 10% and a set of 8 7% layers and they arnt excepional....must be because of the higher than normal - action encumberance?

So true. Usually use NS layers in personal armor.

How much do those NS layers usually run for? What's reasonable? I'm not looking to gouge anyone, I've got a few in my house taking up space and just want to move them.

I bought a set of 7 8% for 250k. Can't remember the negative on the action, but it was good as well.
Start a bid at 5k ea for an auction, and see where it goes. Anything above 0 is profit if you didn't pay for them yourself.
