I'm tired of creating armor that is too encumbransome to wear. I thought after i finished the Tech tree, Expert Armorsmith, that my armor would be acceptable to wear. Layered is so encumbransome I dont know who could wear a full suit. Slicers have no idea whether their slicing for encumbrance or effectiviness.

I believe they need to remove the high encumbrance on Armor, and make it a little more user friendly. Im tired of spending top dollar for hide, and slicing only to create a bunch of garbage nobody can wear.

Armor is fine the way it is provided you have access to doctor buffs or food.

Who knows maybe SOE wants to encourage players to play as a team and not have leet Commando or Bh running around solo in full advanced composite and blasting everyone they see...

I got my first suit of composite armor yesterday, and I am pretty new to armor in general.

I knew (or at least I think I this is correct) that I would need get my stats migrated so that they would support the encumberance of my armor. So, I examined all of my armor, add up the encumberance, and got my stats migrated.

Now, its my secondary stats that are preventing me from wearing the armor. These were not listed in the examine windows I looked at, is there anyway I can check the encumberance for the secondary stats? Or am I just going to have to guess with the stat migrations until I get it right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The encumbrance applies to your substats ONLY. If a chest plate has a health encumbrance of 280, then when you equil that, you will have an encumbrance of 280 placed on BOTH of your health substats.

The encumbrance does not subtract from the primary stat at all, and therefore it's very hard as some select species (and in some cases impossible) to migrate your stats to a position that you can equip the armor unbuffed. Even if you do get to a point that you can equip it, the encumbrance rating on the heavier suits of armor (composite) will cause more damage to you than the protection of the armor, by causing your subs to get so low you take extra damage from a hit, and regenerate at a very slow rate.

Hope this helps
