I went to make a suit Friday and sure enough I had 2 woolamander bones and a couple of gurk hides with no serial. Plus some peko feathers that are now without serial as well. Guess I'll go for the csr ticket first and see what haps... Not that I have a lot of luck that route but they did fix my acklay bones heh...

I guess I got lucky, I've heard of quite a few people getting no serial'd pieces. I had about 12 RIS loot pieces total, check them all and all had unique serials. Heard one person say they put a no serial piece on a vendor and when they took it out it had one. Not sure if that would work though, but worth a try until the devs can fix it.

I have an old gdk that got numbered after the patch. I didn't look at my other bag-o-stuff though.

Not sure if any other AS have come across this or not. Since the bugged Ris loot drops, ive had quite alot of people come to me to make them RIS parts. Ive found that if its an "old" loot that doesnt have a serial number you cant use it. Im not sure if this is a bug or its intended, ive submitted tickets but yet to get an answer. Just throwing out a warning to people buying up the loot.

Can any other RIS smith confirm this? I have old scales, bone and hides as well as the new serialed ones. Can not use the old ones at all, doesnt even show up in the resource lists.

it probably depends on the location of your component when the conversion hit.

Sounds like pieces stored in vendors/houses didnt get a serial.

And pieces in inventories/banks did.

Devs?
