I am a boob, I mean noob and need to know what tree to follow first. I have the resources to grind, but would like to know the most efficient way. I am tired of practicing on Mabarwi. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There really is no difference in which tree you do first. Mostly because you cannot compete with the masters until you are master yourself (last experimentation point there), unless you have skill tapes.
I think most people grind on ubese shirts because that is the easiest thing to get resources for.
Good luck with it, however you decide to do it.

I would suggest doing the tech tree. I'm not sure what the economy is like on your server but I've made a pretty good living selling good quality mabari and chitin. Once AS's hit Master they have very little interest in making good "lower end" personal armor. At least on my server they don't offer any competition in the mabari, chitin and tantel markets. The margins on Ubese and Comp are too good for them to want to do anything else. Padded is almost an afterthought.
With 7 experimentation points (armor tech IV) and good materials it is possible to make mabari with 20% base resists (higher with advanced segments), Chitin with 50%+ kinetic resists (which is all you need for most pve) and 20%+ base tantel (Players new to pvp will buy the helms for the stun resists - its lighter than most sliced comp helms too).
If getting the resources is not a problem for you go right ahead and grind. If you're on your own though, the only benefit to grinding will be getting the 10 experimentation points faster. You're still going to have to do a lot of mining to get all the materials you need for ubese + comp and the different layers. If you get good at mining you'll find there's a good market for materials out there. This is a good way to amplify your income if you don't already use a combat prof for that purpose.
Any way you decide to go I wish you the best of luck.

Even if you don't plan on selling your way up, and just grinding, go tech tree first. This is also your +assembly line, meaning less crit fails, less wasted resources.
