I currently waiting on Dant Avian bone, so I was not able to use adv segs.
I used
3 Kinetic layers 4% kinetic 4% base 12 ham / per seg
I got this withregular segs.
61% Knetic
45%Base
about 80~ ham
What do you think. Do you think 70+ kinetic and 50-60% base is possible if the resourse are the same OQ and I used Adv segs.

my suits of hunting are coming out 80% kinetic, 60% base no problem.
4% base/5% kinetic layers.

A word on valcyn resources etc.
I got 80% kinetic 52% base with my layers all screwed up (way too high of kinetic resist), I think I can get 55-58% base and 80% kinetic without too many prob once I figure out right layers. I also have 12 experimentation points too though.
I think with 12 exp points and even crappy resources you should be able to get 80% kinetic and 40-48% base, but not in the 50-60% range unless you have really good resources or get your layers just right.
HAM on my segs is in 40-60 range, next batch will be lower, also I more exp points to play with
living on dant is helpful in aquiring the bone too, I think I have about 100k of it, lol

hey skinny,
got 77% kinetc 55% Base with 4% kinetic 4% Base 12 ham layers
I am going to try to make 4% base 5% kinetic and I should be able to hit 80%
I am only a 10 point armorsmith. Will never have the money to be anything higher.

Since it experiments like comp and has kinetic as a special resist there is no reason to use kinetic layers if you can get your base high enough.
Me, Iused 4% Base 9% Stun Layers and my final suit ended up 28% Stun 80% Kinetic 65% Base. An advantage over composite is that it recieves an artifical boost to the base from the armor padding, 4% in my case.
