Thread: Differences between all the wookiee armor...

So we have new armor for wookiees! Awesome! Now the question is: Which is better.. .and for what? I hear a lot of talk about the hunting armor and not much about the other stuff. Anyone know the differences and purpose for each armor type?

And the hunting armor can be considered better than composite because in some armorsmiths first stabs at it, one person managed 80 kin 70 base sliced, although the resources were just what was available at the time, with good resources the suit could be 80kin 90 base and the full suit would still be HALF the HAM cost of the same resists in a comp suit.

Yeah, can make pretty decent hunting armor w/ average resources... I'm sure w/ good resources it will be much better than comp. The kinetic being a natural special protection helps to hit the 80% mark. I know someone who is working on 37% stun and 80% kietic w/ good base. (Can't remember base off-hand.)

With just a little experimenting I was able to get the Black Mountain to 75% Kinetic. Did that building it just like ubese, 2 Kin layers maxed on Kin, totally screwing off the base. I didnt use my best Kin layer so I am guessing we might be able to get it to 80 with a base somewhere about 25. Much better than Ubese, hell not much worse than a PVEgrind Comp suit.
Resources on my server are craptastic (Lok leather being OQ+SR=200 wHooHooo!)for the hunting so I am just stockpiling on it now and will be making the High Kin Black Mountain till I build up some resources.

Im able to hit 80 kin/61 base/40 stun.......with the curren lokian wood 21 oq and 3% padding segs.
My mythra is mediocore havent looked around for good stuff.
However, all my hides are over 900oq/900sr.

the black mountain armor is like Ubese armor... i made some last night at 61%to 68% kinetic on bria last night, the hunting armor is just like comp armor... and yes you need to be buffed , cause of the high HAM cost on the hunting armor

Yea the lokian leather is crapy, along with the Dant Avian bones... i'm stock piling resources foir the hunting armor, till better resources spawn..
