Hi I am one skill box away from Master AS.. Been focused on grindding more then crafting armor for sale.. I moved to Mos Eisley area on my server. I figured I'd make low end armor sets with highest kinetics protection I possible could for a month or so to build a name for myself maybe with new players...
Anyways I am making decent 15% kinetic protected Mabari Armor sets right now. Its better then 90% of the other Mabari armor I've seen on the bazaaar.. Only one other player seems to make it better. And I betting he/she/it is already a Master AS..
Anyways I would like to know if there really a market for this type of armor? Should I just go for better armor as my introduction to the AS market on my server. I am not looking for overnight wealth or fame. Just to build up a decent rep over time. Maybe a nice customer base to.
Thanks for your time..

I've been doing pretty much the same thing on my server. I've found a good market from new players and even veteran players who've figured out that using their comp for anything but the vette and the dwb is waste of their money. At 4214 I'm selling 20-30+ pieces a day of mabari with 17% - 19% Kin resists and 49% chitin. I'll sell chest pieces of the latter for 8-8.5 k. A whole suit for around 30K. This is a little less than a 3rd of what good comp sells for, but if you're in the armor game for a while I think its good practice and you'll wind up making a lot of friends. By the time your existing customers grow out of their "low end" armor they will come to you for the higher end stuff before they look elsewhere.

I've been going about the same way. I've got a shop set up a little ways out of Mos Eisley, where I sell 16-19% Mabari for the new folks, as well as the occasional chitin or voritor bone armor. I usually have about 20-30k in sales a day, and it's a good way to get XP until I can hit MAS. Besides, the new folks need something to run around in until they can afford some Ubese or Comp

I sell 25% kinetic Armorweave pieces outside mos eisly for charity (500 a piece)... they sell like hotcakes.... Also there are 33-63 cdef weapons, and good newbie melee weapons.
